The new trailer for the upcoming horror game, “Halloween Kills,” has confirmed a surprising story element.
The halloween kills trailer leak is a video that was released on October 31st, 2016. It confirms the surprising story element of the game.
The final trailer for Universal Pictures and Blumhouse’s Halloween Kills was released earlier today, and it included a lot of new material from David Gordon Green’s eagerly anticipated sequel. The new teaser focuses on two key elements of the upcoming film: survivors of Michael Myers’ murder sprees (especially the one shown in the 1978 original) and the original Myers family home, both of which will play major roles in the film. There’s also confirmation of something that’s been reported about the upcoming picture for a long time, and that the producers intended to include in their 2018 feature. There may be spoilers below!
Three images in the new teaser, as eagle-eyed fans may have noted, corroborate what has long been speculated for Halloween Kills: flashbacks to the events of the 1978 film (with one shot perhaps suggesting a flashback to the events of 1963 as shown in Carpenter’s original film’s opening). The main shot in the trailer that gives this away is Michael Myers standing in front of his family home at the 2:00 minute mark, but two things confirm that this shot is set during the original film: the Strode reality sign in the front yard and the presence of Donald Pleasance’s character Dr. Sam Loomis, who can be seen on the porch.

A second image seems to indicate that flashbacks would be featured, as a young Michael Myers may be seen in another scene, replete with his childish clown outfit from 1963. There’s another short scene in the video that teases the flashbacks, as it shows off the returning “survivors of Michael Myers,” one of them is Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, the schoolyard bully from Carpenter’s film. The video adjacent to Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, on the other hand, is all-new, while the pictures next to Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode are from the original film.

In David Gordon Green’s 2018 Halloween film, a Donald Pleasence soundalike appeared for a short scene, but it’s unknown who will portray him in Halloween Kills (or whether the camera will even be near enough to see them). Green previously said in an interview that the 2018 film almost included flashbacks, which we may see in the sequel.
Green told EW in 2018 that “at one time in the screenplay, we had an opening setup that featured the conclusion of the first Halloween in a sort of aerial restaged rendition.” “On this film, our art director, by coincidence, looks precisely like Donald Pleasence. So we thought, “Let’s just get him to do it, and then we’ll do this thing and replicate it.” Who’s so fortunate to have a look-alike of a man from 40 years ago on their own movie set? [Laughs] Carpenter suggested it, stating, ‘You don’t need to bring folks up to speed like that.’ Simply use them in your film.’”
On October 15th, Halloween Kills will be released in cinemas and on Peacock. If you haven’t already signed up for Peacock, you may do so here.
