‘I Don’t Know Who the Tackle Is, but I’m Going to Kill Him’

The NFL is the most popular sport in America, but it’s not without its problems. From a recent study by ESPN that found one-third of all players are struggling with depression, to an alarming number of cases where players have been accused of sexual assault and domestic violence, the NFL has had a lot to answer for recently.

The browns is a football team that has been in the NFL for quite some time. They are known for their aggressive defense and tough running game.

The Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos will face off on Thursday Night Football this week. Unfortunately, Cleveland’s offense is banged up, as both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt will be sidelined. Furthermore, after being hammered by the Raiders, the Broncos’ defense will be primed to play.

Von Miller, the great linebacker for the Denver Broncos, issued a harsh warning to the Cleveland Browns before of Thursday’s game.

Due to his shoulder issue, Baker Mayfield should be the most concerned, and Miller’s comments may keep the Browns quarterback up till Thursday night.

Von Miller will be ready to play for the Browns this season.

The veteran will enter Thursday’s game with a head full of steam after what has been a career revival of sorts for him. Take a look at what Miller had to say (thanks to Brandon Krisztal for the tip).

“I’m going to do well in this game….” I’m going to have an outstanding game… I’m not sure who the tackle is that I’ll be facing, but I’m going to destroy him.”

Von Miller is preparing for Thursday’s game against the Browns.

That is, indeed, frightening. Miller isn’t the kind of person you want rushing towards you with a point to prove.

Also, the Browns offense is beaten all over, so if Mayfield plays — which is still up in the question — he’ll have to be very careful to avoid further injury. It may get nasty in Cleveland, with a wounded offense and the Broncos eager for a victory.

Yes, the Raiders did defeat the Broncos by 34 points this past Saturday. The Browns offense, on the other hand, has suffered without the running game. Due to the absence of both Chubb and Hunt, the squad will rely on D’Ernest Johnson and Demetric Felton, neither of whom are very frightening on the ground.

It’s no secret that this will increase the pressure on Mayfield if he plays in the game. Jarvis Landry is still out, and Odell Beckham Jr. has sustained another injury. That leaves Donovan Peoples-Jones, David Njoku, and Rashard Higgins to handle the majority of Cleveland’s targets.

In every sense, that is uninspired. Even worse, Miller is seeking revenge and intends to ‘murder’ whomever stands in his way. The Broncos standout also predicted a win in Cleveland on Thursday night (h/t Associated Press’ Tom Withers).

“I’m going to perform really well and make key plays for my team.” And, yes, I’m definitely going to put us up to win this game.”

On Thursday’s game in Cleveland, Von Miller

In the first three games, Miller had four sacks, but just half a sack in the latter two. Denver’s defense may need this game to get back on track, and Kevin Stefanski’s squad could be in for a nasty awakening.

At FirstEnergy Stadium, it’s Miller time.

Raiders quarterback Von Miller, according to Derek Carr:

“Von Miller is the gift of God to the Earth in terms of pass rushing. That guy is a living gold jacket Hall of Famer and the greatest pass rusher in the league. It will be difficult to argue with someone who claims he is the greatest pass rusher in history.”

Miller has had a bit of a comeback in 2021. He has 4.5 sacks on the season and is on his pace to surpassing last year’s total of eight. Miller received high accolades from quarterback Derek Carr after the game against the Raiders, who described him as “God’s gift to Earth in pass rushing.”

Carr is completely correct. When it’s all said and done, the way Miller has performed throughout his career — all with the Broncos — he deserves a place in the National Football Hall of Fame.

Miller is completely focused on the Browns’ game. When he talks, he means what he says. Miller issued a warning to the Cardinals in 2018, and then went out and took care of business with a pair of sacks and two forced fumbles in a 45-10 thrashing of Arizona.

Miller’s warning is significant, and Mayfield and the Browns must do everything possible to limit him on Thursday night.

Prepare to sit back, pop some popcorn, and wait for No. 58 to arrive in Ohio.

Pro Football Reference provided the statistics.

The chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They are the defending Super Bowl champions.
