According to Aaron Garbut, Co-Studio Head Rockstar North’s Head of Development:
“GTAIII clarified our approach to game development, and it’s something we’ve carried forward in every game we’ve made since, from GTAIII to GTAV, the Red Dead Redemption series, and everything else: we’re focused on creating worlds – and making them as believable, detailed, interesting, varied, and alive as possible.” We aim to create environments that make you feel like you’re living in them, places that are active and full of other people. Where it’s not simply a facade that comes to life around and for you, but a world as real as we can make it, full of tales, people, events, and exciting, intriguing things to do.”
The game will be available via the Rockstar Games Launcher for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Beginning November 11, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition will be available on Xbox Game Pass, while the whole collection will be accessible on PlayStation Now starting December 7.
