In 2015, the Jets made a draft day trade that involved trading up to get their first round pick. The player they picked was an All-American defensive tackle from Ohio State named Leonard Williams. But while he put together a successful NFL career so far, his rookie year did not go as planned and he struggled with injuries and inconsistency. Trying to find redemption in 2018, Williams is set for a big season at age 26 looking forward to his two years before free agency begins next offseason.,
The “jets picks 2021” is a former first round pick that was traded to the Jets. The player will be playing for his new team on Sunday night.

For a variety of reasons, the upcoming Week 8 battle between the New York Jets and the Cincinnati Bengals will be quite fascinating.
With Zach Wilson on the bench for the foreseeable future, Mike White is ready to make his first career NFL start. Of course, it’ll be against Cincinnati, perhaps the hottest club in the league, who recently defeated the Baltimore Ravens.
Among the greatest themes ahead of this game will be an intriguing debut and a chance for atonement.

During free agency, the Jets’ coaching staff and front management stunned fans by spending their first dollar on linebacker Jarrad Davis.
On the surface, he seems to be a skilled former first-round pick who struggled to find his feet in an unforgiving environment in Detroit. During the summer, the coaching staff couldn’t stop gushing about him and how well he fit into their new 4-3 system.
Davis then injured his ankle during the preseason against the Green Bay Packers and has been out since.
The Jets reinstated him off injured reserve on Saturday afternoon, which means he’ll make his green and white debut against the Cincinnati Bengals.
It’s finally time to discover what all the fuss is about.
Clearly, when all of this began, the Jets coaching staff had a vision, and despite some fan backlash when Davis was first hired, this group deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh, in particular, got his start as a linebacker whisperer and has a knack for turning chicken s*** into chicken salad.
It’s time to discover what his vision for Davis was, and boy, do the Jets need it after last week’s debacle against the New England Patriots.
Also, CJ Mosley is listed as doubtful for this game, although it’s expected that he’ll be ready to play after missing last week’s game due to a hamstring issue.
The Name of the Game Is Redemption
Play Florida Defensive End The Jets picked Jabari Zuniga with the 79th overall choice in the 2020 NFL Draft. Zuuu!!! 2020-04-25T02:53:40Z
Joe Douglas, the team’s general manager, has come under fire recently for several apparent pick missteps in the 2020 NFL draft.
On the other hand, one of his busts will have a tasty opportunity to redeem himself on Sunday.
On Saturday, the Jets promoted Jabari Zuniga and veteran quarterback Josh Johnson off the practice squad.
Joe Flacco will be inactive less than a week after being acquired by the Ravens.
It’s also an excellent chance for Zuniga to demonstrate that he belongs. He was picked with the No. 79 overall selection in the third round of the 2020 draft, but he couldn’t seem to find a way to contribute on the field.
Zuniga missed half of his debut season (eight games) due to injury, and his minutes on the field were unremarkable:
- Five total tackles
- I’ve never begun a game.
The 24-year-old was then given his walking papers just before the final roster cuts. He was eventually signed to the practice squad by the Jets, but dismissing a third-round pick a year after drafting him is an admission of failure.
In a rotating position, he’ll be able to demonstrate what he’s made of. After a poor start to his NFL career, Zuniga will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go back in time and rewrite his own epitaph.
