It’s fair to say that Bryson DeChambeau’s meltdown in the final round of the PGA Championship has pushed the PGA Tour to take exceedingly drastic and excessive action in response.

PGA Tour pros like to make it official: Bryson DeChambeau is not on the tour anymore. The PGA Tour took this step on Monday. DeChambeau has been battling wrist and hand injuries — and also a lack of motivation — and on Monday the PGA Tour took the final step and suspended him indefinitely. “I know it can’t be easy to hear that I’m no longer an active member of the PGA tour,” DeChambeau said in a statement on Monday. “I’m not proud of some of the decisions I’ve made over the past couple of years and I’m here to take full responsibility for them and apologize to my fans and my family and the PGA Tour and my

At this weekend’s BMW Championship, controversial golfer Bryson DeChambeau’s emotions got the better of him, and his latest juvenile outburst has prompted the PGA Tour to take drastic steps. Fans who scream “Brooksie” at DeChambeau will be kicked from the Tour, which has been more frequent as Bryson’s rivalry with fellow PGA Tour player Brooks Koepka has grown.

Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Cantlay wowed the crowds at Caves Valley this past weekend in what may have been the greatest BMW Championship ever.

DeChambeau and Cantlay battled for 18 holes, with Cantlay forcing a playoff with a birdie on the 72nd hole of the tournament. For five playoff holes, the two exchanged barbs until Cantlay took the lead with a long birdie putt on the sixth playoff hole. Cantlay won the event when DeChambeau missed his own birdie putt, capping up one of the greatest golf tournaments in recent memory.

The drama, however, was far from finished.

During the playoff holes, DeChambeau had many chances to win the title, but his putting continually failed him down. He steamed on the course and was still enraged shortly after the event ended.

Bryson eventually snapped when a fan yelled “Brooksie” at him for the hundredth time. “You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? You know what? “Get the f— out!” says the narrator.

The “Brooksie” shouts have been bothering DeChambeau for months as part of his personal feud with Brooks Koepka. However, golf fans will soon be prohibited from shouting at Bryson.

Fans who scream “Brooksie” at DeChambeau may be kicked from the PGA Tour, according to Commissioner Jay Monahan.

Disrespectful behavior, like as yelling “Brooksie” at Bryson DeChambeau, will now result in his ejection from a tournament. Commissioner Jay Monahan has confirmed this. It’s turned into a matter of disrespecting the players and the game.

Following DeChambeau’s outburst at Caves Valley, PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan is taking a strong line on fan contact with players.

According to ESPN’s Michael Collins, Monahan warned Tuesday that calling DeChambeau “Brooksie” in any capacity may result in fans being kicked out of the event. He went on to say that such behavior would be considered harassment by the Tour. This is a severe punishment. Monahan is attempting to protect the players, but this seems to be specifically tailored to DeChambeau’s sensitivity.

In reality, Bryson’s admirers also contribute to his success. They yelled and shouted when he came close to driving the first green on Sunday. Shouldn’t he put up with the chastisement if he can enjoy their adulation after every thunderous drive? After all, the “Brooksie” chants are intended to raise awareness of the DeChambeau-Koepka rivalry, which is a win-win situation for the fans.

It’s a tricky issue because it’s not always fair to DeChambeau if the shouts annoy him. Despite this, he seemed to take it all in stride until losing in the playoffs. That would seem to suggest that he had lost his cool more than anything else.

This does not seem to be the best option.

In this case, threatening supporters with expulsion seems disproportionate and excessively punitive.

In many respects, the Tour is shielding DeChambeau and diverting attention away from a personal dispute that both Bryson and Brooks Koepka thought might be beneficial to the sport. Why is Monahan caving in to the whims of a man who was kicked off the course at Cantlay for strolling along the edge of the fairway while lining up a shot?

The delicate sensibilities of Bryson DeChambeau led him to lash out this past weekend. Unfortunately, the PGA Tour is now striking out at supporters.
